Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out what you can and cannot do on the Cloudby platform. It applies to all users accessing the Service under any account. Violations may result in suspension or termination in accordance with the Terms of Service.
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the standards of behaviour expected from all users of the Cloudby platform and website. It applies to the Customer and all users accessing the Service under the Customer’s account.
By using Cloudby, you agree to this Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account in accordance with the Terms of Service.
Permitted Use
The Cloudby platform is provided for legitimate business management purposes. Use of the platform is permitted only for lawful business activities conducted in good faith, including:
Prohibited Use
The following activities are prohibited on the Cloudby platform and website. This list is not exhaustive.
3.1 Illegal Activity
- Conducting or facilitating any activity that violates applicable law or regulation in Malaysia or in your jurisdiction
- Processing, storing, or transmitting data obtained through unlawful means
- Engaging in fraud, money laundering, or any other financial crime
3.2 Harmful or Malicious Activity
- Uploading, transmitting, or storing malicious code, viruses, or any software designed to damage or disrupt systems
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or third-party systems
- Conducting penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or security research against the platform without Cloudby’s prior written consent
- Interfering with the availability or performance of the platform for other users
3.3 Misuse of the Platform
- Using the Service to provide timesharing, bureau, or managed service access to third parties without prior written consent
- Reselling or sublicensing access to the Service without prior written consent
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service
- Scraping, harvesting, or systematically extracting data from the platform through automated means
3.4 Inappropriate Content
- Storing or processing content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or harassing
- Storing or processing content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Using the platform to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
Customer Responsibility for Users
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all users accessing the Service under the Customer’s account are aware of and comply with this Policy. The Customer must promptly address any known or suspected violation by its users.
If you become aware of use of your account by others that you did not authorise, contact Cloudby immediately at contact@cloudby.co.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of the Cloudby platform that violates this Policy, please report it to contact@cloudby.co. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Consequences of Violation
Cloudby reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this Policy. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, Cloudby may take the following actions.
Changes to This Policy
Cloudby may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email or in-platform notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
