Workplace is a dedicated space where employees manage their own working day without needing access to the full back-office system. The current release covers expense reimbursement and payslip access, with a full employee dashboard and manager view in active development.
Self-service for the things employees need most.
Expense Reimbursement
Employees submit expense claims directly from their Workplace dashboard. Each claim includes receipt attachments, expense category selection and supporting notes. Claims move through a structured approval workflow — managerial acceptance followed by finance verification — with status visible to the employee at every stage.
Approved claims are processed and posted through the Finance module without re-entry. Settlement can be processed as a standalone payment or consolidated into a payroll batch, so employee reimbursement fits into however the business manages payments.
Payslip Access
Every confirmed payslip from every payroll run is accessible in Workplace immediately after the batch is confirmed. Current and historical payslips are available at any time without needing to contact HR or the finance team. Each employee can only see their own payslips — no other employee’s data is visible through the Workplace interface.
For businesses processing payroll monthly under Employment Act 1955 requirements, payslip access through Workplace provides a clear, timestamped record of each confirmed batch — accessible by the employee and verifiable by the employer.

The following capabilities are in active development and will be enabled progressively. The current live capabilities are the foundation — each new feature builds on the same employee workspace, not a separate system.
Operational Dashboard
A personal to-do list surfacing task assignments from any module — service jobs, document approvals, onboarding checklist items and process coordination tasks. One list, one place.
Approval Queue
For managers with direct reports — pending approvals for expense claims, leave applications, purchase requisitions and any document requiring sign-off, all accessible from the Workplace queue.
Leave Management
Leave application and approval workflow connected to payroll calculations. Leave balances by type, approval status tracking, and automatic feed into payroll processing on approval.
Timesheet
A basic start-stop timer for recording time against projects, jobs or tasks. Practical for businesses that need time records without electronic integration hardware.
Manager Team View
Team KPI summary, attendance and leave calendar, and field team status for businesses using the Service module — showing which technicians are on active jobs and their current assignment status.
Corporate Culture
Company announcements, team notices and internal communications published by HR or management. Visible to all employees in their Workplace dashboard.

Finance
Expense claims flow into Finance for verification and payment posting without re-entry. Approval actions in the Workplace queue update the document status in Finance immediately.
Payroll
Confirmed payslips publish to each employee’s Workplace dashboard immediately after the payroll batch is confirmed. Leave approved in Workplace feeds into payroll calculations automatically.
HR
Leave balances, employment status and document access are drawn from the HR employee record. Organisation structure determines which employees appear in a manager’s team view.
Service
Job assignments and work orders will appear in the employee’s to-do list and the manager’s field team view when the Operational Dashboard is live.
