Filter anything, everywhere, your way

Product · New

Most business software gives every list its own idea of filtering, if it gives you one at all. Cloudby now gives every listing, across every module, the same filter bar: quick chips for the everyday search, and an advanced builder underneath for the query that actually needs AND/OR logic.

Quick chips for the everyday search — several conditions stacked at once

One filter bar, on every list

Sales orders, invoices, stock items, service tickets, payroll runs, whatever list you are looking at, the filter bar works the same way. Pick a chip, narrow by Status, Product, Customer or Vendor, and each of those now supports multiple values at once, a Draft-or-Cancelled status in one chip, not two separate searches. Learn it once on any list, and you already know it everywhere else.

Status filter chip open, showing Draft and Cancelled both ticked at once
Tick more than one value — Draft + Cancelled in one chip
Received Into filter chip open, type-ahead searching for a bank account by name
Type-ahead search a linked record, like an account
Payer filter chip open, combining a Customers/Vendors/Directors type toggle with a free-text search
Combine a type toggle with a search, like Payer

A date editor that finally speaks in presets

Dates are now one unified control: quick presets like Today, This Month, This Quarter and Year to Date, a period stepper to move a window forward or back a click at a time, or a manual range when you need it exact. No more rebuilding the same date range from scratch on every list you open.

Date Range filter chip open, showing quick presets on the left and a two-month calendar on the right, with This year typed and selected
Presets, a calendar, or free text — whichever gets you there faster

When a quick chip is not enough, expand into a real query builder

Some questions need more than “any of these”. Expand the filter bar and you get a real AND/OR builder: group your conditions, choose whether a group matches all of them or any of them, and combine groups the same way, all with a couple of clicks, not a written query. Use the same field more than once across groups if that is what the question needs, and stack as many groups as the question takes. It is exactly the logic a report writer would reach for, built into the listing itself.

Advanced filter expanded to three groups: Status and Date Range matching all conditions, Payer Type or Received Into matching any, and Settles Type or Clearance Aging matching any, with a plain-English Reads as summary underneath
Three groups of AND/OR logic, and a plain-English “Reads as” summary so you can check your own query

Save it, and it stays useful

Save a filter once, chips, dates and all, and it comes back exactly as you left it. A saved “This Month” preset does not freeze the day you saved it, it keeps meaning this month, every time you open it, so a saved filter is a shortcut you actually reuse, not a snapshot you have to rebuild next month.
